Echoes of Everyday Heroes

Artist Statement

This piece was inspired by the incredible energy and positivity of The Kelly Clarkson Show, where music, heart, and real stories come together to uplift others. I used bold, intersecting colors and shapes to reflect the vibrant voices and powerful emotions that emerge when people share their journeys.

Kelly’s way of honoring everyday heroes sparked something in me. Along with my friend, I co-founded A Slice of Art—a youth-led initiative that believes art and storytelling can shine a light on the people in our communities who quietly make a difference.

Through our work, we want to celebrate those who often go unnoticed—the unsung heroes who inspire through their kindness, courage, and impact. Our community is full of them, and we hope to uncover and honor their stories.
