Imagine Peace

This artwork was created as a tribute to John Lennon—someone I learned about not through his music, but through his message. I’m only 12, and I haven’t heard his songs yet, but when I learned that he stood for peace, love, and hope, I wanted to honor that through my art.

I used bright colors and bold shapes to show how powerful and full of life his message was. Even though I didn’t grow up in his time, I believe peace is something we all need, no matter when or where we live. The peace sign near him shows what he stood for, and the mix of colors shows how people from all backgrounds can come together to make the world better.

This painting is my way of saying that even if we don’t share the same words or songs, we can still share the same dreams. Peace is for everyone.
