The Power of a Dream

This painting is my tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a symbol of justice, courage, and unwavering hope. I chose to portray him in a vibrant, geometric abstract style to reflect the boldness of his dream and the many layers of the movement he led. Each color and shape represent the diversity of voices that joined together in the fight for equality.

The radiant burst of color around him echoes the light he brought into a divided world. I wanted to capture not just his likeness, but the energy and passion of his message—that love is stronger than hate, and that peaceful resistance can transform even the darkest moments.

Creating this artwork reminded me that real change begins with vision, voice, and bravery. I hope it inspires others to keep believing, keep speaking up, and keep moving forward.
